So I was Santa for our Kindergarten Christmas party. What was my entrance you ask? on a sleigh, behind reindeer, escorted by elves, simply walking and waving. Noo. Not here. Not at Cornel. Not in Asia. It was none other than the Gangnam Style dance. If you are unfamiliar with such dance, first remove the rock you have been living under. Second, YouTube it. It's ridiculous in every single way. To top this whole thing off, I was wearing a shiny Santa costume. Obviously, your next question is. Did you get a video. Well, yes I did. (thanks Nika) Also seen in this video is 4 Taiwanese teacher elves doing a dance in a sexy costume. A sexy costume, for a Kindergarten party, but why? Because that's the kind of thing you do in Taiwan. Also in this video is my roommate, Sarah, who was the MC. She is wearing an angry birds outfit. How does that connect with Xmas? It doesn't. Don't try to make sense of it. It will just hurt your head.
With no further ado, here it is. With every view, a little bit of my pride goes away.
Being Santa is pretty amazing. Every little kid looks at you like you are the most magical thing in the world. Even though I looked like an idiot, I made a ton of kids happy. So it was all worth it. Is there really a better feeling in the world? Probably not.
