Vietnam. A name. A story. Very many stories are connected to the name Vietnam. Very few of them actually have to do with the way the country currently is. This Saturday I will form my own opinion of this Southeast Asian country. I will spend about 5 days in Vietnam between Hanoi and Halong Bay. We are going to kayak, rock climb, trek, take boat rides in the bay, go caving, and eat.
Next, we fly to Thailand where we will split time between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. In Chiang Mai I will play with tigers(dream come true), ride elephants and eat. We will just hang out and explore the town in Bangkok.
Then a quick 2 day stay in Singapore. Not really sure what we will do in Singapore, but I am sure there is a lot to do and eat.
Finally, our trip concludes with 6 days eating in and exploring Bali, Indonesia. It's Bali, what more do I have to say?
4 countries in 20 days. Right now they are just places on a map. Before this year I couldn't have even found those places. Very soon, those places will be real. Which, to be honest, kind of blows my mind. I'm so excited. And very hungry!
Hopefully I make good decisions and have a safe, trouble free trip. But that's not likely.
